This new Cottage is located in one of the last high-altitude rainforests in the U.S. Centrally located, near the village of Volcano (altitude approx. 3600 ft) four miles from the entrance of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park in the heart of the Big Island of Hawaii, just 2 hours from the Kona Coast on the west side, 2 hours from Waimea to the north and 30 minutes from Hilo on the East side. This cottage is comprised of a master bedroom with queen size bed, spacious living room with cathedral ceiling, complete kitchen and a tiled bathroom with a luxurious spa-size tub and private views into the forest. There is a roomy loft with a full size platform bed. Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa volcanoes looming above the treetops can be viewed from there. The loft is accessed from the living room by way of a ships ladder. In the living room there is a convertible futon sofa for additional sleeping. Coffee, tea and a variety of breakfast materials are provided for your convenience and pleasure.

Your hosts are located near-by. Should you have any special needs or requests, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you are a licensed Radio Amateur you are welcome to experience DX'ing from Hawaii, from your host's fully equipped HF station.

The basic rate is $ 145.00 per night/ couple, an additional $ 15.00 per night will be charged for each additional person. All rates are subject to local taxes. Special rates are available for longer stays.
